Terms and Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

1. Programme Terms

By registering for SafeCheck, you agree to participate in a voluntary monitoring programme under the conditions set out in the consent documents. These terms supplement, and do not replace, the consent architecture you complete during onboarding.

2. Conditional Confidentiality

All disclosures made within SafeCheck are subject to conditional confidentiality. Any disclosure indicating risk to a child will be referred to statutory safeguarding authorities. This condition cannot be waived, negotiated, or appealed within the programme.

3. Programme Limitations

SafeCheck is not therapy, clinical treatment, legal advice, or a crisis service. It does not provide any protection from prosecution. Participation does not create a therapeutic relationship between you and any SafeCheck staff member.

4. Intellectual Property

The SafeCheck framework, methodology, operational documents, and associated research are the intellectual property of Sophie Lewis / The Grooming Files, licensed to the operating organisation. No part of the framework may be reproduced, distributed, or used outside the terms of the acquisition or licence agreement.

5. Withdrawal

You may withdraw from SafeCheck at any time. Withdrawal does not delete data already collected, does not prevent escalation where a child protection concern exists on record, and does not affect the retention schedule applicable to your records.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from participation in SafeCheck shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
