A structured pathway where none exists

SafeCheck is a voluntary early-intervention framework for individuals experiencing sexual risk towards children. It creates structured visibility and accountability in the space before any statutory threshold is reached.

For individuals

If you are concerned about your own thoughts towards children and want structured support and accountability, SafeCheck provides a voluntary pathway into monitoring.

Participation is voluntary and non-anonymous. Confidentiality is conditional: disclosures indicating risk to a child will be referred to statutory authorities.

What SafeCheck does

1

Surfaces risk

Creates visibility of risk that would otherwise remain entirely unseen by formal systems.

2

Monitors patterns

Tracks behavioural patterns over time through structured daily check-ins and professional oversight.

3

Feeds statutory systems

Escalates into MAPPA, police, probation, and Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships when thresholds are reached.

What SafeCheck is not

  • Not therapy. SafeCheck does not provide clinical mental health treatment.
  • Not legal advice. SafeCheck does not offer any protection from prosecution.
  • Not anonymous. All participants are identified from the point of registration.
  • Not unconditionally confidential. Child protection takes absolute precedence at every stage.
  • Not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services on 999.
